Sometimes, say, a peanut butter stout is just a stout with a hint of peanut butter. But some places make it taste like liquid peanut butter drowning in booze

Shiner Bock is grossly overrated. It sells at premium prices but is not a premium beer.

I was somewhere once ( in Texas [!!])  that had Shiner listed on the menu as an import (and priced higher accordingly).

I took issue with it.

I had Belching Beaver’s Peanut Butter Milk Stout once, and thought it was bad, but nowhere near as awful as Rogue’s Voodoo Donut.

I hate beers that have weird ingredients/flavors. Maybe if these brewers could make good beers in the first place, they wouldn’t need to violate the German Purity Laws in the first place.

Also true. It’s the Dunkin bit that bothers me, of course. I do not like Dunking coffee, it’s just bad. Regular is watery and “dark” tastes burned.

When I’m traveling, McDonald’s is my go-to cup of coffee. I’m not a fan of Starbucks. It’s fine if you want some fancy foofy drink, but it’s a lousy place for a cup of coffee.
